About Us
The Friends of the Jamestown Public Library was formed in 1987 to provide many types of support for the library. Membership dues and proceeds from the organizational fundraisers are key sources that provide funding for books, equipment, programs, and supplies for the library.

How to Join
Members of the Friends of the Library receive quarterly newsletters in the mail and help support our small community library!
Membership Levels
$10 - Individual
$25 - Family
$50 - Sustaining
$100 - Benefactor

Honor Roll of Volunteers

The Honor Roll of Volunteers is recognition for outstanding service to the Jamestown Public Library. The Friends of the Library are currently seeking candidates for this honor. Each candidate will have demonstrated a commitment of service over time in multiple ways to the library.
Membership to the Friends of the Library or attendance at meeting is not required.

The Friends of the Jamestown Public Library nominating committee is seeking candidates for the following elected positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
The duties of each position are listed below:
President : to preside over and conduct meetings and to appoint all committees and be an ex officio member thereof.
Vice President : to perform the duties of the president in the absence of the president and to act as program chairman in coordination with the executive board unless another program chairman is appointed.
Treasurer : to keep and maintain the financial records of the organization.
Secretary : to record attendance at all meetings, to take the minutes of all meetings, and to conduct the correspondence of the organization.
